IQM adds Quantistry's simulation software and quantum chemistry talent to build a full-stack industrial quantum platform.
IQM Quantum Computers, the Finnish full-stack superconducting quantum computing firm now trading on Nasdaq under the ticker IQMX, has acquired selected assets from Berlin-based Quantistry GmbH, a developer of cloud-native simulation workflow platforms serving the automotive, aerospace, chemical, materials, and pharmaceutical industries. The deal brings proprietary software applications, algorithmic libraries, and key intellectual property under IQM's roof — along with Quantistry's core technical staff in quantum chemistry and software engineering.
The acquisition closes what has long been one of quantum computing's most stubborn commercial bottlenecks: the distance between low-level hardware capability and the domain-specific software that industrial customers actually need to run. By folding in Quantistry's machine-learning interface layer and algorithmic simulation library, IQM can now offer a more complete value proposition to enterprise R&D teams, rather than leaving them to bridge that gap independently.
